Hillary Clinton will begin Sunday to lay out a set of proposals aiming to cut taxes for the middle class, a campaign aide said.

During an event in Iowa, the Democratic presidential front-runner and former secretary of State will unveil the first part of a plan she will detail further over the coming weeks and months.

The cuts would be paid for “by a set of proposals Clinton supports in order to ensure the wealthiest Americans pay their fair share,” the aide said.

Clinton has previously called for the extension of the American Opportunity Tax Credit to help with college affordability and the creation of a new tax credit to help people deal with the rising out-of pocket healthcare costs. The credit for excessive costs would be worth as much as $2,500 for individuals and $5,000 for families.
